TEXAS VETS -    BELOW MARKET INTEREST RATES ON YOUR SAN ANTONIO HOME PURCHASE

      If you served in any branch of the military or recognized reserve component for at least 90 days,  and if you are currently residing in Texas, you are probably eligible to purchase a home  with a Texas Veterans Land Board Loan (TVLB) at below existing market rates in any Texas town or city.  Contrary to what you might have been told, having enlisted inTexas, or showing San Antonio or any other Texas town or city as your permanent home of record does not affect your eligibility.

     TVLB loans can be used to purchase your home in San Antonio with a loan amount as high as $325,000 on a fixed-rate 15 or 30 year loan, often with no down payment.  You can also purchase one acre or more of land with your TVLB eligibility with a maximum loan amount of $80,000, with as little as 5% down payment.  Or, If you're thinking about updating or remodeling your existing home, you can also use your TVLB eligibility to acquire a loan for this purpose.  The majority of the loans issued will be financed with private mortgage lenders, however, some loans with lower principal amount can be financed directly through the Texas Veterans Land Board.

HOME PURCHASE OR HOME IMPROVEMENT LOANS:  5.41%

LAND PURCHASES:  7.25%

SERVICE PRIOR TO 1977 - 4.41%.  There are some limitations on this low interest rate, but most veterans who would otherwise qualify will not be affected by these limitations.  You can call me anytime for a full explanation.
