Forbes Magazine Ranks San Antonio High

Those of us who live here already know that San Antonio is a laid-back city, and that it's a great place to live.  The River Walk, very favorable climate, favorable home purchase prices, two major theme parks in Seaworld and Six Flags Fiesta Texas and compared to most other major cities, a tolerable traffic pattern even in the drive time hours, are just a few of the advantages to living in the Alamo City.

According to a  Forbes Magazine article, San Antonio is about as mellow as a town can get without being boring.  Forbes goes on to call San Antonio relaxed yet vibrant, and that it is getting more corporate since it became the headquarters for SBC Communications.  Only six other cities on the Forbes list are expected to outpace San Antonio in job growth over the next five years.

In a separate article, Forbes ranks San Antonio as the 6th best city for sellers, noting that home values rose 7.9% last quarter, based on National Association of Realtors estimates, and its foreclosure rate was only 1%.  Forbes goes on to point out that job growth is the third highest in the country.

Still not convinced that it's a great place to live?  Send me an e-mail with any questions or requests for information.  I'm here to sell our great city!
